An unusual artifact, this WWII RAF Officer’s Tray is in fantastic condition. Beautiful embroidery with very fine detail.
An unusual artifact, this WWII RAF Officer’s Tray is in fantastic condition. Beautiful embroidery with very fine detail. The insignia shows the king’s crown, indicating that this was made during the reign of King George, and pre-dates the current Queen’s crown insignia. The backing paper shows some age and marks, but the embroidered piece is in great condition. The wood frame has brass handles that are still sturdy and the glass is still intact. Bottom still has green felt that is also intact. This would make a great wall display, or could still be used as a serving tray. Great gift for any collector of WWII items.
