Ornate Gingerbread Clock with pendulum and key. Needs some work to get it running again.
Ornately carved Gingerbread Clock, ca.1880. These clocks were intricately carved wall clocks and became popular during the Gingerbread architectural movement of the late 1880s. During this era houses and furniture were embellished with ornate wooden details that resembled a gingerbread house. Despite being intricately carved, these clocks were usually mass produced and Gingerbread clocks were commonly found on the wall of the kitchen, and were also sometimes referred to as simply “kitchen clocks”. This clock is in need of some work to get it running again, but comes with the pendulum and key.
