This is a lovely Victorian Era D&A Oak and Silver Biscuit Barrel. A small oak barrel with a silver plated nickel lid, rim, handle, banding and a shield on the front.
This is a lovely Victorian Era D&A Oak & Silver Biscuit Barrel. A small oak barrel with a silver plated nickel lid, sterling silver rim, handle, banding and a shield on the front. The inside is white glazed porcelain. The stamp on the inside of the lid reads ” D&A EPSN 84 75 1/2″. EPSN stands for ‘electroplated silver nickel’. The shield on the front would be perfect for a custom monogram or engraving. This little biscuit barrel would make an excellent gift for any occasion.
