Description

Candle Stand Ca 1740 New England Original Paint. This candle stand is in very good condition for it’s age, and still has the original muted, black paint finish.  The top is round and  raised on on standard featuring turning vocabulary and turned drop-finial.  lot of detail was put into the the spindle tripod base, which is pegged, also features fully developed  turnings.  Very sturdy piece that doesn’t wobble and sits nicely.  This piece measures 32″ x 18.5″. Pictured with the stand is the Georgian Chamberstick
