Antique Wooden ‘Ridge Top’ Skis

Description

Fantastic pair of well-preserved wooden skis, ca. 1930.  These wooden skis are carved with a ridge-top design, which means that in their heyday they were cherished by a serious skier. Ridge top skis were stiffer and easier to manage a high speeds. Bindings read “Tempo, Loipe” on the plate, and have a leather piece under the metal. Cord missing to hold the boot in place. Great decor for cabin or chalet.
